Make Bunting, Wreaths, and Tissue Flowers With Coloured Tissue Paper

Of what use will a coloured tissue paper be? What if you have a lot of these things at home, will you throw them away? Well, if you have a lot of these in your crib, chances are, you will throw them away. After all, these pieces of papers are nothing more than trash.
However, if you have some creative and artistic sense, you can actually earn from these pieces of papers. Basically, the thing about these papers is that they are pretty easy to deal with. In other words, even with the most basic skill on your part, you will be able to do something out of those 'pieces of trash'.
So, in this article, we are going to learn how to make decorations and other useful things from these pieces of papers. Of course, the most important thing that you need to do is to collect the different materials that you will need first.
What are those materials, then? Of course, the scissors are important. Although tissue papers are relatively soft materials, it is not advisable that you cut them by hand as they will surely tear apart. If not, the cut will be pretty darn ugly. Besides the scissors, you would also need to have PVC glue. If you do not have this one, you can just get an ordinary white glue, place it in a bowl or glass, add water, and voila! You have your own improvised PVC glue.
What is this PVC glue for? And why can't you use the ordinary white glue? Basically, most of the things that you will make will involve so much use of the glue in order to harden your papers. Without doing this, your creation will be, quite literally, lame.
Of course, you need to have assorted papers of different colors. If you want to create an art, you need to make sure that you have access to papers of different colors of different shades and harmonies. If you have the same color, or even the same shades of colors, your creation will be, well, dull.
From here, you can basically create anything that you want. As a matter of fact, you can make your own rose or any kind of flowers with your papers of different colors. So, who can say that a coloured tissue paper is useless. As you can see, they really are not. They can give you a fortune if you are creative enough.

The Newlywed Guide To Giving Flowers

As soon as you get married, people expect a lot more of you in terms of your social graces and etiquette. One of the important things to learn is what occasions warrant giving flowers. Presenting a floral gift at the right time can help you build relationships with others and show that you care about them. There are several occasions on which flowers are expected and a few things to know about presenting a gift on each occasion.

Flowers for Wife-

Husbands, give your wife flowers on your wedding anniversary every year. You should also consider giving her flowers on your one-month, three-month, and six-month anniversaries as well during the first year. In addition, give her flowers on her birthday, on Valentine's Day, and as surprises whenever you know she could use a little boost. Red roses are always a safe bet, but also consider her favorite colors and the types of flowers she likes.

Get Well and Sympathy Flowers-

When someone you know is sick, this is a good flower giving occasion. Take an arrangement in a vase to the hospital if you're visiting someone there. If someone you know has a death in the family, you'll want to give them sympathy flowers so they know you understand their loss. In this situation, a mixed bouquet wrapped in plastic and delivered to the home is a great gift.

Hostess Gifts-

Once you're married you'll get invitations to visit friends and family for dinner. When you do, flower giving is never frowned upon. Just bring a nice bouquet that will look decent on the table, and make sure it's easy to just put it in a vase when you arrive. Seasonal flowers are great for hostess gifts because they're reasonably priced and are likely to be fresh so they'll last a while.

Mother's Day Gifts-

One of the best way to get in your mother-in-law's good graces is to give her a great Mother's Day gift the first year you're married. If you'll be seeing her in person, pick out a bouquet, arrange it in a nice vase, and present it to her with a card when you see her that day. Otherwise, choose a bouquet to have delivered to her from you. Make sure to let her know how much you appreciate having her as your mother!

When you're first married there are a lot of new things you have to keep in mind and giving flowers is only one aspect of your new life. Don't get too stressed out if you miss an occasion, because people understand that you're just learning!

When To Send Flowers: 6 Occasions You May Not Know About

Big events like Valentine's Day, birthdays and anniversaries are events where sending floral arrangements is essentially a given. But there are other, more unique occasions when it is a great idea to send flowers. Receiving a lovely floral arrangement is appreciated on happy occasions and in times of sadness and grief. Remember, you can send a bouquet or floral arrangement to anyone, young or old, friends, family, or lovers.

1. First Day of School. Regardless of whether a student is just starting kindergarten or its their first day of college, receiving flowers makes an exciting day that much more special. Send the flowers to the dorm room of a college student or give them directly to a student who lives at home. Sending the flowers to class may be a bit too much.

2. To Celebrate a Promotion or Raise. Getting promoted at work is a big deal. To celebrate, send the newly promoted person a thoughtful floral arrangement. You can send an arrangement to a co-worker who has been promoted, to your newly promoted boss or to your partner or friend.

3. After the Death of a Pet. When a family member or loved one passes away, people usually send flowers. But many people treasure their pets just as much as their human friends. This means when a pet dies, it can be a truly heartbreaking experience. Brighten someone's sad day by sending flowers that say "I'm thinking of you."

4. For Smaller Holidays. Flower arrangements and bouquets are a lovely way to decorate for virtually every holiday. For example, a bouquet of bright green blooms is perfect for St. Patrick's Day. Red, white and blue flowers make a great arrangement for Memorial Day or the Fourth of July. Anyone who loves flowers will love receiving a special arrangement on any holiday.

5. Firsts. In a person's life, there are lots of "firsts" that they'll experience. Send a child a small flower arrangement for losing her first tooth. Sending a teen a flower arrangement or bouquet when she passes her driver's license test is another good reason. Other firsts that are perfect for flowers include a first job, first apartment, and first car.

6. A Big Move. Helping someone decorate a new home or apartment by sending floral arrangements after they move is a great way to celebrate. If someone is moving across the country or to another distant location, sending flowers is a great way to be there even if you cannot physically be present. Make sure you time the flower delivery so they've had time to unpack and settle into their new home.

Almost anytime is the perfect time to send flowers. If you just happen to think about it, sending an arrangement to a friend is a perfect time to send flowers. You can even create an occasion so that you have an excuse to give flowers.
