How To Boost The Amount Of AdSense Money You Make

Making loads of AdSense money is the Holy Grail for many AdSense publishers. It is the reason why many new webmasters join the AdSense scheme. The scheme is relatively simple to join and it is easy to use (all you have to do is put a few lines of JavaScript code into your site) but over time it has proven to be notoriously difficult to use as a means of making loads of money. Many Publishers have found to their dismay that AdSense money is not so easy to make.

There are a number of reasons for why this is the case. Firstly AdSense, on average doesn't pay that much per click. On average an ad will pay out only about $0.30 every time it's clicked.

This then brings us to our second point. AdSense is primarily about the monetization of traffic. But because the pay-out per click is so small you often need an enormous amount of people passing through your site before you begin to make a decent amount of AdSense money. To make a modest $450.00 a month you need about one thousand people passing through your website a day and you need about five per cent of them to click on your $0.30 per click AdSense ads.

With these kinds of stats you can see why the urge to cut corners as looked attractive to many publishers past and present. But Google are too aware of this and they have tightened up their Pay-Per-Click scheme enormously since its inception.

So how can you boost the amount of AdSense money you make? You can increase the potential of your AdSense website by understanding that the core of AdSense is acquiring quality traffic. Not fabricated traffic (the types that comes from very dubious sources) but good honest traffic; the type of traffic composed of visitors that are actually interested in the content of your website. This is because it is only these types of individuals that are likely to click on the AdSense ads on your website. The best way to get this type of traffic is to try and get as much organic traffic as possible. This is when people are using the very same types of keywords within Search Engines that you have used to put together your website. And for this reason many of them would be purposefully seeking out the content you have on display. These people are then more likely to click on your AdSense ads.

So the best way to boost the amount of AdSense money you make is to create quality, keyword enriched websites that are based on good AdSense niche themes. These are the types of sites that are most likely to do well with the Search Engines and the ones most likely to draw in good organic traffic.

The Many Myths About AdSense Money

How can you maximise your AdSense earnings? How can you make money using Google AdSense? Well, that is the one million dollar question. Many new publishers expect an easy answer, they are often drawn into the scheme after hearing or reading about how quick and easy it is to make AdSense money. Get rich quick schemes are everywhere on the net and AdSense been primarily internet based program often holds centre stage when it comes to the many tales that form the basis of such schemes.

But a majority of AdSense based get rich quick schemes are untrue.

AdSense is not a get rich quick scheme. On the contrary, it is a get rich very slowly scheme. You're not going to be making loads of AdSense cash a week after just joining the program. This is especially true if you're completely new to the whole website publishing scene. You're not going to be flooded with endless amounts of AdSense money as soon as you join Google's PPC scheme. The pop up ads and the small one to two page websites exulting the virtues of AdSense as a means of earning quick money are not telling you the whole truth. Many of them are not been completely honest. There are not many fast and easy ways that does not break some aspect of Google's strict AdSense rules. Even illegitimate ways (which should be avoided at all costs) of making AdSense money are extremely difficult to implement without getting caught and they are by no means quick and easy.

The best way to make AdSense money is to take the slow route. You need to first understand how the scheme works (making sure you have a good grasp of Google's rules and regulations). After which you can start deciding on the types of themes that will make ideal AdSense topics. Then you can start planning and organising your website basing the webpages making it up on the best types of AdSense keywords. Of course all of this will require a degree of research.

But is only through putting together a good AdSense website can you hope to generate a decent amount of AdSense wealth. Even though the temptation can often be great, if you happen to rush, you will undoubtedly fail to make enough AdSense money to make it worth your while.

So forget about the myths related to quick and easy ways of making AdSense money. Most of them are untrue. Like any business, making serious AdSense cash requires time and dedication and for many it can take a long while before they truly start earning some AdSense money.

How The Best Publishers Make AdSense Money

What are the best ways to make AdSense money? How can you build your own AdSense empire? How can you emulate some of the same methods used by the best AdSense publishers?

There is no secret that there is a lot of money to be made through the use of AdSense. Stories abound on the web about various publishers earning ridiculous amounts of AdSense money. But how do they do it? What is their secret?

But there is no secret behind the methods they use. There are many websites and blogs that explain step-by-step how to make money through Google's Pay-Per-Click (PPC) scheme. The problem is that only the best webmasters and the most diligent publishers use these methods to make AdSense money. This is because many of the methods require skill, patience and some hard-work; qualities that are often absent in new and frequently impatient AdSense publishers that are misguided about the nature of Google AdSense and what it can deliver.

The easiest way to make AdSense money is to follow the example of the best AdSense Publishers. Most of these individuals make money by creating, large informative AdSense websites. Others, sometimes create lots of small quality sites. These websites are normally based on well-researched AdSense topics; topics that contain a number of high paying AdSense keywords. These keywords often help attract ads with good Cost-Per -Clicks (CPC's) from Google. Ads that on average pay more for every single click.

Another important aspect normally focused on extensively by experienced AdSense entrepreneurs is the written content of the site. The content is normally always filled with high-end keywords and they normally discuss the positive benefits or services of the keywords in question. Experienced publishers are also willing to experiment and take chances in order to make AdSense money. They understand that there is no foolproof method that can be used to boost the amount of AdSense cash you make. Successful AdSense entrepreneurs experiment with content, placement of ads, website design, keywords and even the types of AdSense ads they use. Every change they make is carefully noted so that any improving factor can be isolated.

The way to make AdSense money is not particular difficult to grasp; the difficulty lies in the hard work involved. This realisation is often too difficult for new disillusioned AdSense publishers to take and more times than not they bail and give up on the dream of making AdSense cash.

Stepping into Google can sometimes be a daunting experience for an AdSense beginner. Even though AdSense is relatively easy to join and easy to use, the steps needed to make AdSense money are often difficult to do.

After putting together a website after pasting in the AdSense code for your ads, what next, how do you make money with Google AdSense?

The steps towards AdSense money requires that you plan and research as much as possible. You cannot leave anything to chance. You need to know if your potential list of AdSense topics are real money making themes and for this you need to do some background research which requires gathering essential internet data.

This research not only gives your AdSense site some good core grounding in the form of good keywords but it helps with Search Engines Optimization and it helps when trying to get quality AdSense ads.

So what does research involve? Research involves first finding out if your AdSense theme is worth investing some time on. This process involves gathering important information about your chosen AdSense topic. This information is openly available on the internet but can take some time to put together. Is Shopping Once a Week the Best Way to Save Money on Groceries?

Many of the articles I have seen lately mention shopping weekly as one of the best ways to keep your budget low. Today let's explore this strategy:

There are some advantages to grocery shopping weekly. When you shop weekly you have a routine of what day you shop and you can make the best use of any weekly sales that are offered at your store. Also many items like milk and fresh vegetables need to be used within about a week.

Many families get paid weekly this can make a weekly trip to the store the best option. Over the last 14 years that I have been married we have had many different pay configurations, including weekly, bi monthly, and monthly. We have also had seasons where we shopped once a month, once every two weeks, once a week, and multiple times weekly.

Every frugal family seems to have their favorite time frame to shop in. Some of my couponing friends go to a store four or more times a week. They say this is the way to get the best deal. My mother shopped once a month and said it was the best way to save money on groceries. There are just as many people out there saving money on groceries as there are "best" ways to save money on groceries.

Once a month works very well especially when you get paid once a month or if you divide your budget up so that this week's check covers these things and that week's check covers those things. The upside to shopping once a month is that less trips to the grocery store mean less impulse spending. The downside is that you can't take advantage of the weekly sales as easily and that each trip is very large and time consuming. Usually those that shop once a month will stop in for at least one quick trip during the month to grab some more milk and other perishable items.

Twice a month: This was how I first learned to shop when I was a newly wed. We got paid every other week and we would pay the bills and make a grocery trip for the payday. Advantages of shopping twice a month/every other week are that you can take advantage of twice the number of sales as with shopping monthly (though not as many as with going weekly) and the shopping trips are smaller than monthly shopping without being as often as going to the store weekly.

Weekly is actually my least favorite. While it is nice to take advantage of all the weekly sales, I don't like giving up one evening a week to plan a menu and go shopping. Some frugal shoppers love the routine of knowing that every Thursday is grocery day. If that is you, weekly shopping may be perfect for you.

Multi-time-per-week happens at my house during seasons when I am very tired or life is a little crazy. With the grocery store being less than 10 minutes down the road, sometimes it is easier for me to plan for the next three or four days and do a small shopping trip. The advantages are ease of taking advantage of sales and mark-downs as well as smaller lists and less time per trip. Less stuff bought means that it is easier to babysit the bagger, and keep him from sticking a half dozen cans in with my bag of oranges. The disadvantage is that impulse buys can add up quickly.

The best strategy seems to be the one that balances impulse buying with the size of grocery store trip you like to make. There really isn't a "best" way for all people everywhere. The best way is the one that works most efficiently for you and your family.

3 Ideas to Save Money, Your Health and the Environment at Home

My two passions in life are Real Estate Investing and Saving Money.

The following makes your indoor living more breathable, less toxic, less cluttered, more cost effective, more welcoming and 'user friendly'.

My first suggestion for an environmental sound residential house can be applied to any building whether home, workplace, recreational, shopping, entertainment, etc. Cleaning: in our haste to be clean we buy products that contain chemicals, although there is a new trend to use 'green products' how green are these products - have you considered where the ingredients came from (transportation)? What is the packaging made of(& transportation)? How was the product made, how did they dispose of the garbage or excess materials? What happens to the garbage/excess materials when it has been removed from the manufacturers plant? What other products are produced by this company that is selling the 'green product', are they cashing in on the trend or are they sincere in their concerns for the environment?

What is the alternative and still be clean? My favourite cleaning technique STEAM, it cleans everything, I also used baking soda, vinegar, lemons & lemon juice, salt, olive oil and elbow grease. Yes, there is transportation involved, but it is minimized, and that's the goal, to affect the environment as little as possible.

So how does this effect our individual health? In many, many ways; We breathe the chemicals, we build up these chemicals in our body and we reach the limit were these chemicals effect our health, we go to the Dr for relief of the health problems, the Dr will prescribe medications the counter-act our symptoms, sometimes the medications cause side-affects which means we need more medications, just because we wanted convenience in our life. How convenient are the cleaning products now? Don't forget the damage caused by dry cleaning.

My second suggestion, disposal of no longer required household items and clothing.
- Swap shops
- Charities
- Church Spring/Fall Fairs
- Advertise on university or college notice boards
- Re-purpose into modern art, or other useful household items, you've all seen the old boots made into plant pots, plastic pop bottles into bird feeders.

Manufacturers have caught onto this idea they now produce items that look like old boots or pop bottles.
- Garage sales
- Schools could use your old books, crafts, sports equipment.
- Neighbours could maybe use it.
- Furniture re-use centres
- Re-use-it stores (i.e. Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Red Door).
- Use on camping tips

Thirdly, this one is my personal favourite, and is actually connected to my second suggestion, make your own gifts for birthdays, showers, anniversaries, Christmas, Hanukah, graduation. How does this effect the environment? And save money?

You already have the products at home or are easily obtained, you do not have to travel to the store, spend money on products that are not environmentally friendly (see suggestion #1).

Make your own candy, decorations, modern art, wind chimes, votive candle holders, frame your childs' art for grandma, old wool clothing can be unwound and knitted into something else, if you don't know how to knit - learn, or donate to somebody that can. Old wool clothing or blankets can be made into felt material by putting into the dryer and dry under 'high'.

It is a lot easier these days to save money, 'go green' and live life healthier and to the fullest, with the internet available for ideas.

Sneaky Tips for Saving Money

Consumerism is still alive and kicking and America still loves to shop.

However, many smart consumers take advantage of incentive programs to save or earn rewards on their purchases. Most people don't take advantage of all of the ways to compound the benefits and savings from essential purchases.

These are some helpful hints to get the most out of shopping without the pitfalls of buying too much.

Online Shopping but only with a Shopping List

Most everyone has had some reason to shop online. The internet has made it easy to price comparison shop across multiple retailers or wholesalers of goods in a matter of moments. But the convenience of shopping from home or work can lead to buying items that are unnecessary.

Making a list of items you will purchase is just as important online as it is in-store. Comparison shopping and "sleeping on it" for at least one night can also be great ways to control spending online. If it's too much effort to complete your transaction the next day, then it probably wasn't a worthwhile purchase for you in the first place.

Advertisers and retailers take advantage of the natural tension and stimulation that's caused by seeking out (hunting) and obtaining (gathering) goods. Letting time pass and going back to a purchase that's already been found lets you assess the purchasing decision in a clear frame of mind.

..and FREE Shipping

One of the biggest differences in saving on online shopping is looking for retailers that offer Free Shipping like Amazon. Auction sites have grown in popularity and have become a more trusted method of shopping for many consumers as well.

Buy in Bulk but only with a List

Buying Clubs and Warehouse shopping outlets like Costco and Sam's Club can be a good way to save on items that you keep on hand. Many shoppers experience leaving these places with too much of a good thing though, so the best way to shop at these types of stores is with an item specific list, when you are in a bit of a rush so you can't linger and put extra items in the cart impulsively.

Loyalty Memberships but without increasing Your Visits

Loyalty memberships work great because you are rewarded for shopping often. The downside to being rewarded for shopping is that you may unconsciously justify spending more, or more often. Thwart this possibility with a set schedule for shopping and a specific budget.

Rebates, Codes and Coupons

Taking two minutes to fill out and mail rebate forms can add up over purchases and time. There are also some very worthy sites that offer coupon codes without all the junk. Good old fashion coupon clipping adds up too.

Discount Gift Cards

This is a new one. Gift card trade sites buy used or new unwanted gift cards at a discount. You benefit by buying the cards at a discount also. Saving 2 - 20% on your payment method is a great way to save money and make your shopping dollars go farther. The downside is that you must pre-buy the cards and wait for them to be mailed for you to use in store. The upside is that helps you plan your shopping, and it can also help you stick within your budget if you won't go beyond your predetermined spending limit.

Discounted gift cards are almost always combinable with other offers and promotions too.

Cash Back Programs

If you qualify for a cash back Visa or MasterCard, only shop with those and pay the card off weekly. Generally, you must have good credit and not everyone qualifies. If you can't qualify for a cash back credit card, there are other Cash Back loyalty programs out there like Lyoness.

Spending smart and compounding savings can truly add up over time. A little planning and effort makes for a happier budget.

Time and Money Savings

We all have a limited amount of time, 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week. We also all have a limited amount of money. Yes, even a millionaire has a limit to the amount of money they can spend, their limit may just be higher than yours or mine. So we have to find a balance between the time we have and the money savings things that we do.

No one person could do every saving idea that exists. It just wouldn't be possible. First, there are not enough hours in the day. Second, many of the money saving ideas contradict each other. One person says that the way to save on groceries is to only shop once a month...Another person says that the best way to save on groceries is to shop every week and buy the things your family likes that are on sale.

Which one is right?

Really, neither one is right or wrong. They are both doing what works for them.

Some people have more time than money. They are going to do more of the strategies that take time but save money. Other families have more money than time. They are going to probably spend more money than the first family in this example, but they can still use some money saving strategies that don't take up much of their time. We all have to prioritize what is important to us.

Enjoying time with my children is very important to me. So is saving money. I don't necessarily have to choose whether I am going to enjoy time with my children or do a money saving activity this afternoon, though. I can find activities that allow me to do both. Maybe we spend the afternoon making cookies to use as snacks for the week. This saves me money because I can make cookies cheaper than the ones that my family would eat from the store. It is a fun activity for me and my kids. And I have control over what went into the cookies, so I can make them a little healthier by using less sugar, part or all whole wheat flour, etc. This is a bonus for me.

Also let's not forget the enjoyment factor. There are so many ways to save money out there. There is no reason to choose the one that makes you the most miserable. Choose the money saving ideas that sound easy and enjoyable.

Which Utility Supplier Will Save You Money?

How do you choose which utility company will save you money? There are many misleading adverts & promotions around right now that encourage you to switch suppliers to save money. However, if you are not careful, you may well end up paying more than you were previously!

Phone & Broadband

So what can you do to make sure you are not paying too much for your telecommunications? First off don't be misled by extremely cheap headlines deals, these are most prominent when looking for phone & broadband deals. You must read the fine print behind the headline deals, £5.99 a month for broadband sounds great, but what is the cost of the line rental that you must pay? How long is the £5.99 price for & how much does it go up to after that? Are you going to be tied into a contract? For how long? You must add up all of the costs for at least 12 months or for the full term of any contract before comparing the deal with any other. Often headline rates are just there to attract you to switching but you may end up regretting your decision. What about "free calls"? are these 24/7 or just evenings & weekends? Is there a fee to receive these "free calls"? which in effect means they are not free at all! Do you need to use your landline during the day? If you don't then don't go for a deal that includes free calls during the daytime, this may save you some money.

What about your broadband speed? Do you need to download lots of big files like games & movies? If you just use the internet for browsing & checking your e mails then many providers will have a "lite" deal which will have limits on the amount of data you can download, but these will be fine for just browsing & e mail. Many providers are now increasing the speed of their broadband & "ultra" (60 MB or more) will become the norm in a few years, but do you really need this speed? The trick is to decide what exactly you need so you are not paying for services that you won't use.

Mobiles

Just as with phone & broadband choosing which utility provider is the best is not easy, there are a huge amount of "deals" being offered by lots of different suppliers & retail outlets. Rather than being sucked in by tempting advertisements it is much better to decide what exactly you are looking for first, then look for a deal that matches your criteria. For instance do you really need the latest high tech phone with all the gadgets & apps? Do you really need unlimited minutes, texts & data? Do you want to be tied into a long term contract of 18 months or more?

A good starting point is to look at your current bill, how many minutes & texts do you currently use per month? Look at the last 6 months bills & average out your monthly usage, you may find that 500 mins & texts is more than enough, so no need to pay for unlimited usage. Do you browse the internet on your phone? If you don't use Facebook or Twitter or watch video clips online then there is no need to pay for expensive data add-ons. Next decide what you want from the phone, do you need a high tech camera or video recorder? Do you want to listen to lots of music? Do you play games on your phone? The answer to these questions will help you decide the type of phone you require.

When you have decided on the type of phone & the amount of mins, texts & data you require then you can look for deals that match your requirements. The next big decision is whether you need to take a contract phone, where you receive a "free phone" with inclusive allowances for a monthly fee over a period of time, or whether it would be better to buy a phone outright & take a "sim only" deal with no contract. For the contract phone you will need to work out the full cost by multiplying the monthly fee by the contract term in months. You may find that it is better to purchase a phone yourself & obtain a sim card from elsewhere.

Gas & Electricity

You would think that choosing which utility provider you should use would be the easiest of all the utilities to fix, however this is definitely not the case. This is due to the mind boggling amount of different tariffs offered, even from the same suppliers! The government is trying to make it easier by forcing the big suppliers to make it easier to compare the tariffs of different suppliers. Already in place is the need for bills to provide annual usage figures, this means that it is easier to compare what your annual bill would be if you switched to a different supplier no matter what the particular tariff was. The next step is to get the gas & electricity suppliers to reduce the number of tariffs available.

In general the easiest way to choose which utility supplier is the best is to pick at least 2 comparison sites & input your annual usage figures, this should tell you which supplier is the cheapest for your particular circumstances. It is usually best to use one supplier for both gas & electricity as you will receive a "dual fuel" discount. However be aware that comparison sites only get paid if you switch to one of their recommended suppliers & they do not carry all of the suppliers. There are some independent suppliers not featured on comparison sites that may have better deals.

Customer Service

We have, so far, only discussed how to choose which utility supplier is the cheapest; however as with everything in life the cheapest is not always the best & might even end up costing you more money in the end. Good customer service is invaluable, from time to time things do go wrong & you need a company that will put things right ASAP without a fuss & with the least amount of inconvenience to you the customer. Do you really want to spend more than an hour on the phone to a customer service dept? Do you really want to be with a company that just treats you as a number & doesn't pass on its best deals, but saves these for new customers? You really have to think about this when choosing which utility provider to use. The best way to ensure you get good value with the best customer service is to use recommended suppliers, I'm talking about recommendations from existing satisfied customers & especially from independent consumer bodies. The most well-known of these in the UK is the "Which" consumer magazine. So when choosing which utility supplier to use for any service, you would do well to make your first port of call the "Which" magazine or any similar consumer organization.
