Tips For Selling Your Ebook Online

When it comes to marketing your ebook online, you can do it without a sweat. You should know that if you wanted to boost your ebook customer list, the fastest way to do so is by investing into advertising... in particular pay per click advertising. If you can make this medium profitable, you could make money on each initial sale, and also gain a new customer in the process.

Now this is very important. Nothing is more valuable than selling to your existing customers over and over again. You see once you acquire a customer for your ebook, you don't have to pay anything else to acquire them. You've already got them, and they have bought your ebook... so the next thing that you will want to do is to sell them on another ebook that you have.

Selling ebooks is a great business to be in. But if you don't know how to market your ebook successfully, you will need to go and get some really good advice on how to market your ebook on your website. And if you don't already have a website, now is the time to get one.

You can't go around trying to promote your ebook using a URL shortener. These look tacky, and you will have a hard time convincing people to click on a link like this. Instead, have your own website so that you can instantly build credibility, and boost your ebook conversion rates.

There are alot of ebooks on the internet that covers a wide range of things, and you should also know that ebook has gotten a bad name attached to them. Consumers has been fed ebooks that are full of fluff and low on high quality content. Because of this, people know what to look for when it comes to buying an ebook to suit their individual needs.

Now even with this stigma attached to ebooks, you should know that you can still market and sell your ebooks successfully. But it will require a well developed internet marketing plan. The easiest way to sell your ebook is to build up a large email mailing list of people to sell to, and market to your subscribers over and over again.

Once you've acquired a list of around 5,000 subscribers, you will start to see sales on a weekly or even daily basis (depending on your niche). Once you start getting customers, put them into your backend email autoresponder sequence, and start marketing to them for more sales. Backend sales will account for 80% of your total business profits, so this is something that you will definitely want to do in your business.

Selling ebooks is very easy to do. If you're new to online marketing, the fastest way to get sales is with a $7 to $10 ebook. Once you've gotten the hang of this, you will want to raise your prices for the future products that you have planned to market. If you want to make money with your ebook, simply keep these things in mind.

Good luck with using these tips to sell your ebooks successfully online.

Similarities Between E-Book Readers and Notebooks

E-book readers bear some features with tablet computers in a number of ways. The similarities between these two devices have led to a lot of confusion as one is mistaken for the other. To begin with, both devices are mobile, handheld and are also very portable. An average e-book reader weighs about only 8 ounces, and that is very close to a notebook's weight of about 15 ounces. Also, there is a very close similarity of their screen sizes.

The second similarity lies in their display modes and technology. Notebooks essentially use back lit LCD screens for their display. Other than the e-book readers that use e-ink technology for their display, the rest use LCD technology, similar to notebooks. The use of LCD display is however not very beneficial as it consumes a lot of battery power and not very visible in bright sunshine.

Another similarity lies in their wireless ability to surf and access the internet. The two devices are both equipped with in built wireless access to the internet. Users can surf the net and download their favorite eBooks at anytime and anywhere as long as there is a good internet access. Although this is a similarity, it can be noted that notebooks have a faster surfing speed compared to e-book readers.

The two devices have the capability of online backup. They both have an inbuilt online backup capability that enables users to automatically back up their data in online servers. Users can upload a variety of files for backup on online severs.

Newer versions of e-book readers can now support some audio features that include text to speech and music playback. This has made them similar to notebook computers that are designed to support these features and a range of others. This ability allows the users of the two devices to listen to some background music as they read their favorite e-books.

A major similarity between the two devices is their ability to download and display e-books. With the introduction of applications for laptops, notebooks and even android devices, it has become possible for notebooks to perform e-book reading operations. This has made them similar to e-book readers which are designed for the primary purpose of reading e-books as well as other written works in digitalized form.

The two devices are both ideal devices for research work. For starters, both devices come with an inbuilt dictionary that allows users to look up definitions and meanings of words as they read eBooks for research purposes. They also support note making and keyword highlighting capabilities which adds to the research functions for students and also other users. These are among the numerous similarities that exist between notebooks and e-book readers.

Reading ebooks can today be done technologically, thanks to the invention of ebook readers. Jamie, a technology geek recommends ebook reader for the most informative and ebook readers reviews.

Learning Some Lesser Known Facts About EBook Conversion

The World Wide Web has come a long way from its basic function of connecting people and make communication easy irrespective of the distance. Today, it has become a hub of information and commerce with millions of people using it to not only carry on their everyday business on the global level but also gain unlimited information on a wide range of subjects. With the ever growing demand for online information, it is only natural that an increasing number of writers and even publishers are considering the option of eBook conversion as a means of reaching out to greater number of people.

Despite the fact that eBooks are being widely used by a big chunk of internet users, not many of them are aware of the process of their compilation. In fact, only a small percentage of internet users can actually distinguish a text written in any digital format from the diverse types of eBooks available online. As such they are also not aware of the truth that not all digitized text formats are compatible with the various eBook readers including applications, browsers and software available online. Moreover, people generally tend to consider eBook production to be the same as eBook conversion, even though the two processes are entirely different.

The basic difference between eBook production and conversion is that while the former involves the completion of all the aspects related to the publishing of a new book, the latter is a process of converting already published or digitized text into a format compatible with the various eBook readers. In most cases, eBook conversion is generally undertaken to provide a technologically advanced digitized version of information available in print or simple digital format without altering its content, structure or styling in any manner. In fact, eBooks have provided a great solution to the problem of preserving original books and manuscripts over long periods of time.

Another vital fact that people generally are not aware of about eBook conversion is the use of various formats preferred by major software companies. Some of the most common formats used during eBook conversion include Kindle, EPUB, DNL reader, Microsoft reader etc. Although each format has its own advantages and drawbacks, it rarely makes a difference to the average end-user, who is just interested in reading the information provided through these books.

SEO And Copywriting Tactics For Your Ebook

Would you like to learn some great tips for marketing and promoting your ebook online? If so, then today's lesson will be of some benefit for you. If you've ever tried selling ebooks online but have never gotten the chance to get any sales, you shouldn't give up. All you've done is discovered a few new ways of what NOT to do when marketing your ebook.

And this can be a good thing. You could take what you've learned when promoting your current product, and put it into use when it comes to promoting another product in a different niche. I would say that the toughest thing to do when it comes to earning money and getting traffic to your site is by using "search engine optimization" (SEO).

SEO is something that constantly changes, and it's tough to stay on top of these changes while trying to balance out all the rest of your marketing strategies. But you don't have to bet the farm on search engine marketing... all you really need to do is to implement the basics, and wait for visitors to come to your website.

Another thing that you will need to do if you want to make your ebook a success is to have a strong sales page. It's tough to get alot of sales with limited sales copy. If you don't have the money to hire out a copywriter, I think you should find yourself a "swipe file", and use it to guide you when creating your sales letter.

The most important thing that you will want to focus on in your sales letter is the headline. Without a strong and compelling headline, most people won't want to read the rest of your sales letter. You have to lead with your biggest benefit first, and stress the result that they will achieve after taking action and buying your ebook.

If you need help with this, then there's a simple copywriting strategy that will help you out. All you want to do is to get out a sheet of paper, and make a "T-chart" about your ebook. On the left side of the chart, write the word "Features". On the right of the chart, write the word "Benefits". Then, for each feature that you create, come up with an equal and opposite benefit.

This procedure will come in hand when it comes to creating the bullet points of your sales letter. Your bullet points are simply the area of your sales letter where you tell your reader what they will learn inside of your ebook. Truthfully, your bullet points should be like "mini-headlines". They all should be intended to revealing some new technique that they have never heard of before.

You will also want to focus on the closing part of your sales letter. Make sure you have a good "PS" at the end that reiterates what your sales letter was all about. Mention what they will receive and mention the money back guarantee that you're offering them. Creating the sales page for your ebook isn't hard, you just have to have the right tools to do so.

Good luck with using these techniques to make more money with your ebook today.

How to Price an Ebook For Guaranteed Profits

You don't have to be traditionally published to sell a lot of ebooks, and you don't have to be A-List famous, either. Moreover, you don't need "credentials", all you need is an authentic story and expertise in the topic you're selling information about.

I love to use the example of Amanda Hocking when talking about ebooks, because Amanda has an incredible story. Let me share with you a little about her. Amanda Hocking is 26 years old and has 9 self-published ebooks to her name, and sells 100,000+ copies of those ebooks per month via Amazon's Kindle. It's important to note that Amanda has never been traditionally published.

At $3 per book at the Kindle store - Amanda Hocking makes a lot of money from her monthly book sales. In fact, there was publisher that basically said "...there is no traditional publisher in the world right now that can offer Amanda Hocking terms that are better than what she's currently getting, right now on the Kindle store, all on her own.

Now Amanda Hocking is a "fictional writer", but it doesn't matter. The point is she has no credentials, was never published before and it's been reported by USA Today that her sales have exceeded $450,000 for the month of January 2011 alone! Amanda has made over $1 million dollars on her own selling ebooks that were priced from $2.99 to $4.99.

Have I got your attention yet? I hope so, because if you're struggling to get by, living paycheck to paycheck, there is another way. And you don't have to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars starting a brick and mortar business or purchasing a franchise. All you need to do is take your expertise and knowledge and transform it into an ebook or an ecourse.

That leads us to what your long-term goals are when pricing your ebooks. When Amanda Hocking was repeatedly rejected by traditional publishers, she took matters into her own hands and finally decided to "digitally" publish her own ebooks. At the time, Amanda's goal was to make a few hundred dollars a month to cover her expenses. So she priced her ebooks very low because she wanted her ebooks to not only be affordable, but to go viral.

Now, I want to point out that it wasn't "magic" and Amanda's huge success didn't happen overnight, it started out with a few sales, and then a few hundred sales over time, and it just grew from there. Additionally, Amanda had submitted her ebooks to "Book Bloggers" for review and then word started spreading and her ebooks went viral.

So if you have similar goals as Amanda; to earn a few hundred dollars a month to supplement your income, then I would say price your ebooks from $2.99 to $4.99 if you're selling them on Amazon's Kindle. However, if you have a "list" and a functioning website, and you are going to sell your ebook from your own website, then you can price it higher, from $20 to $40+ or you can do what I always recommend and convert the ebook into an ecourse and start selling that from $97-$297+.

Now, if your goal is to build a list, then I would suggest you write an ebook and give it away for FREE. Yes, you can publish it on Amazon's Kindle and give it away FREE. The goal would be to give valuable information in your ebook and then to drive the reader to your site to sign up on your list/optin form for a FREE Gift.

I think the real key to pricing is to offer the material in various formats with pricing from $20 to $2000! For example, sell your Special Report/ebook for $20 on your website; then add some extra benefits like e-Coaching, video tutorials and convert it to an ecourse and sell it for $200; then take that Information and Create a Master Mind Group or a Private Mentoring Club and sell that for $2000.

The sky is the limit when you re-purpose your material! Just make sure you have valuable information that helps others solve a problem they are having. When you help others, you can't help but make money too!

The Future of the eBook is Changing Before Our Eyes

Over the last few months, I have been putting together eBooks, some are compilations and collections of previous works, while others are from scratch. Being a highly charged prolific writer, I am able to do this perhaps faster than other people, and now, I have a system which helps me do it efficiently. Still, it's not easy, it's a lot of hard work - a real ass-flatener if you will - and then there's another aspect to all this, I am noticing that the eBooks which I am producing will be outdated within the next two years.

This is because more and more people are competing in this new expanding marketplace, and they are interjecting more multimedia into their books - okay so, let's talk about all this if we might.

Recently, I've noted that there is new software for creating multimedia eBooks, and it is a program which is available for the Mac which costs around $99. The eBook author is able to stick in pictures, just as they might in a Microsoft Word program, but they can also insert videos. Then, they can download these eBooks to the Apple eBook store, where people who have an iPad can buy them and watch/read them. Indeed, I believe this will be the new way of doing things. It's a great new innovation, but it will also challenge all of those who have already produced eBooks, which might be selling well today, but will not be able to compete in the future.

Now then, this begs the question for someone like me who has produced 160 eBooks so far for Kindle users. Indeed, no one will want them, and why should they if they can buy a multimedia book on the same or a similar topic, do you see that point? Another question is; does somebody go ahead and upgrade to the new system, and way of doing things now, to sell their multimedia books at the Apple Store, or should one wait until someone produces a more standardized version of software that can be used on any platform including Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, or perhaps even a new market player in the venue of eBooks or multimedia eBook-like products?

Personally, it will be a challenge for me, but I do believe that this new venue is an excellent way to put forth nonfiction information, and will also do quite well for fictional writers, enabling them to tell a story in their book. Imagine a Harry-Potter book, or something like that which was full multimedia enabled? Does that mean the eBook industry will move towards larger companies that can afford the staff to produce these types of works? Will that be how the publishing houses stay in business, by jumping onto this new trend?

Will this new trend end the lowly eBook author's new claim to fame? Indeed I guess we will see in the near future. Additionally, it seems that covers do matter, and people do judge eBooks by their cover, by that graphic representation which is shown in the picture when the online consumer decides to buy or not. Those books which have more graphic representation inside, generally get higher ratings, and are enjoyed more by eBook readers - therefore, I would submit to you that eBook authors who want to stay in the game, are going to have to migrate to the multimedia book format sooner or later.

Right now, it's hard to say who will be the winner in this game, and which technologies will emerge as the new standard. Switching now might also be a problem if that new standard is not adopted by all sides of the industry. Indeed, I am taking a wait-and-see approach, it's hard to say how this will evolve in the near future. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

How To Make Sales With Your Ebook

Are you feeling the "ebook" bug? Are you ready to enter into this lucrative online opportunity and start making sales from your ebook marketing efforts? If so, then you have landed at the right place. Because today, I want to share with you some tips on how you can make your ebook standout and be unique amidst the competition in your niche.

If you want to make sales with your ebook, you have to be diligent. Don't give up if you don't see results right away. You should focus on building up your opt-in email list, because these are the people who will be more than likely to buy from you. If you have a list of only 100 people, but haven't gotten any sales yet - don't fret. There are many things that you can do to generate a sale.

The first thing that you can do is to get more subscribers. Depending on your niche, it could take the average subscriber 2 months before they buy from you. And then in another niche, it may take 2 weeks or even 2 days before someone buys from you. So it depends on the situation.

Another thing that you will want to test doing is dropping the price. If you find that you get a lot of unsubscribers from your email list, that means only 1 thing: People are opening up and reading your emails. So since this is a fact, you will want to promote the new price of your ebook at the very top of the email. Usually you will start to see sales after the drop in price.

Another thing that you will want to do is revise your sales letter page. If you have a short sales letter page and the sales copy and bullet points aren't too good, you will want to seriously consider remaking your sales letter page. They say that longer sales letters work better than shorter sales letters - and I 100% agree with that.

With a long sales letter, you give yourself the opportunity to expound more on the product features, and what your prospect will be getting from implementing the techniques, tips, and strategies of your ebook. Plus, you can edit your bullet points, and make them into "mini-headlines".

You don't have to be a master copywriter... you just need to know how to write a good headline that will get them interested, and how to write sales copy that will keep your visitor on your webpage. To get started with your copywriting training, you will want to go and get a "swipe file". This is simply a collection of ads and sales letters that have proven to work, and have made many online business owners a boatload of money. You can find one easily online for a small price.

Marketing your own ebook doesn't have to be a hard chore. It's very simple and easy to do, and all you have to do is go at it week after week like a super-marketer, and you will start to see results. Your business success depends on you, so if you want to escape the rat race and work for yourself, this is the kind of work that you have to put in.

Good luck with using these tips to earn more money with your ebook today.

How to Set Up A Marketing Strategy to Sell Your eBook - Selecting A Channel

Without readers, your eBook will fail. It doesn't matter if you sell it on Kindle, your own website or your favourite corner. A book without a reader -- and that includes eBooks -- is meaningless. The question is how do you get readers? What do you need to do to ensure that people find and buy your eBook?

The answer is marketing.

Marketing is the process by which you find your customer, get in front of them, attract their attention and then present your product. It includes sales and in many ways, it includes how you will deliver the eBook. And it begins before you write our book.

Yes, you heard me right. Marketing your book begins before you write a word. In fact, it begins before you even plan your book.

The whole point of marketing is to sell your eBook or book. Or for that matter, any other related product. It describes how you will make a profit and what the products will be about.

So how do you do it?

Well as I've mentioned it begins long before you write your eBook. Arguably, it begins within the determination of the company strategy. More specifically, it needs you to determine your market or micro-market, your business model, your reader and identify your problem and solution. However, for the purposes of this article I'm going to assign those tasks to company strategy development and instead focus on those tasks that are unique to marketing.

As part of the process of identifying your reader, you will have determined how to gain their attention. Basically, you are asking, "Where are they hanging out?" Typically, these are forums, blogs and magazine sites. YouTube and Google are also two key locations that most readers will visit regularly. However, don't ignore your competition and others who deal with these same customers.

Your job now is twofold. First, you need to determine which of these opportunities you will use in order to gain your readers' attention. While it would be nice to be everywhere your reader is, practicality says you need to choose only a few. After all, you only have a few hours per day. And being on forums and blogs all day is probably not a good use of your time.

The second task is to select the marketing methods you will use. Each of these opportunities or channels has several methods you can use to market through them. For example, article marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and Google AdWords are three alternatives you can use if you select the Google channel. Of course, not all the methods will be useable. For example, reading and responding to blog posts is a method for addressing the blog channel. However, so is spamming blogs. It isn't very effective and it will soon result in your being banned. But it is a method.

Ebook Writing Basics

Ebooks are widely thought of as the most popular digital product worldwide. If you are making an attempt to show off your creative writing skills or desiring to promote your business to your target audience, creating free eBooks and publishing them is a good place to start. Writing one may seem scary at first, but becomes less intimidating once approached methodically. This should make you realize that it actually doesn't take very much effort to create a digital masterpiece that can really excite your target audience.

To begin, you must establish clarity. You'll require a concise knowledge of your goal and your target audience. Are you writing for a good read, or are you writing for people to take action, or are you writing for your business? Choosing the path you want to take will make the end product much more sturdy. After you have chosen your path, the next step is to invent a distinct title for attracting the attention of your readers. The title needs to be like a single phrase summary of the entire book, as well as to showcase your cleverness. For example "Stop staying up so late at night and start front loading" might be a swell title for a book about how to avoid procrastination.

After you have thought of the title, the next part is to look at the content. Even though your intention is to write a free digital book, it won't be as effective if its contents aren't exciting. It should be able to keep your audience turning the pages from cover to cover. In addition, it is tantamount that you invent original content and not merely rewrites of other eBooks. You have to give up a notable amount of time for creating relevant information that conveys your thoughts to the audience. While a few publishers might prefer to outsource the task of writing content to third party vendors, it is not advisable if you aren't charging anything for your eBook. Avoid the use of jargons that a typical reader might not comprehend. Keep the language simple so it can be user-friendly if you so desire. Always proofread and use a spell-checker to guarantee a perfectly finished product.

The last step is to come up with a creative graphic design as the cover. First impressions are hard to change, and if the first thing they see about your eBook is some poorly drawn cover, they will think of your book as being poorly written. If art isn't your strong point, it is advisable to hire the services of a designer to do it for you.

Creative Ebook Writing Ideas

I have the desire. I have the keyboard. How do I find the best I have to write about? What if no one likes my writing? I imagine most aspiring writers have had those conversations with themselves. I sure have. The truth is, though, we all have many books inside us. Unique thoughts and experiences that are ours, and yet so similar and relatable to other people.

Sometimes in our day to day life, we get lost in the 'Matrix'. We forget our 'child like' curiosity, and our thoughts get clouded with, well, life. Give yourself a gift. The gift of time to clear your head and think. Dream, wonder, and breath. Getting quiet and closing your eyes, while inhaling and exhaling deeply can start the subconscious to fire ideas at you. Keep a notepad ready and write everything that comes to mind. No matter what it is. If you fall asleep, remember your dreams if possible. Keep that note pad with you everywhere you go, and determine to be present, aware, and curious of all around you. Not only will book titles jump out at you, but life will seem to spring up all around as well.

Our memories hold a library of joys and laughter, tragedy and tears. Even unpleasant times in your life can make useful book material, because there are people out there who have had the same experience, and may be comforted to know they were not alone. How you coped with or overcame the situation may be the answer they needed. No one has seen through your eyes, or had your thoughts and feelings. When your story connects with readers who can relate to it, they will laugh with you, cry with you, wonder with you, and even feel what you felt.

Practical topics, like our experience with pets like birds, cats, dogs, fish, or even more unusual critters, can make good ebooks. Also sports like fishing, hunting and archery skills. Gold mining 'how to'. Growing food, home building, home repair. Whatever your skills are can be helpful to many.

Real life adventures and unexplained oddities. Even fictional characters who have led amazing lives that the real us were to timid to ever venture. Humor is universally sought after. We all love to laugh.

Your work experience is valuable and helpful to thousands of readers. Health experience, and even hobbies can be a wealth of material.

If you're not a professional writer, and know practically nothing about ebook creation like I did, then you need a helping start to get your creative ebook writing ideas all together, written, and published online for sale. There's a lot of competition in the ebook world. We need an edge to jump in and let the world know we are here, and we have something to say.

2 Ways To Monetize Your Ebook

If you're looking for a way to earn more money with your ebook, then you have landed at the right place. Today I want to show you some great ways to market your ebook and get sales with them. These techniques are simple and easy to use, and I use them in my internet business everyday.

Now don't expect to earn millions overnight. It just won't happen. But if you want to see fast results... results that will motivate you to keep going... then you will want to read everything on this page. I want to share with you something that you can be doing to improve your ebook sales and profits today. Here's the first thing that you should do:

1) Upload to Amazon Kindle

Amazon Kindle is a great place to put your ebook up for sale and to start earning money from it in a short period of time. If you do your research, you will find that alot of the ebooks on Kindle sell for around $9 to $12. These are for more popular ebooks that have been reformatted from paperback or hard cover, to ebook. The kind of ebook that you are selling may probably work best for you in the $4 to $5 range - all depending on your ebook.

Now it is very possible for you to price your ebook at $10 and still make sales on a recurring basis. I used to sell a book on Kindle that was getting me about 5 sales per day. It was only priced at $5, but it made me a heck of alot of money all within a short period of time. I'm willing to bet that you can have the same results like this also with your ebook. Let's take a look at another strategy you can use to earn more money with your ebook today.

2) Sell it on your own website

Many people don't like the idea of promoting their product on the internet because they think that it's too hard to get sales this way. But believe it or not, you can earn incredible profits with this method. If you put your ebook up for sale on Kindle, it'll probably get you sales at around $5. If you put the same ebook up on your website, you could sell it for $19 - $29 a pop.

I like to call this "good math". With profits like these, it's hard to turn back and focus all your attention on Kindle. You would more than likely want more website sales, and just let your Kindle account operate on autopilot. There are many people making money with this model, and you can make money with this same model also.

Promoting your ebook on your website isn't a tough thing to do. Many people are having success with their ebook on their website, and they don't plan to stop selling more and more of it no time soon. If you want to start making more money in your online business, you will have to utilize these tips to the utmost of your ability. Give them a try today.

Good luck with promoting your ebook online.

The Rising Popularity of the Ebook

As technology is advancing exponentially, even our way of reading has changed. Books always reek at paper and ink. Ah yes, holding a book with sweaty hands certainly released the smell of an old fashioned book. One of the healthiest ways of entertainment/ self-improvement. Of course, books have changed a bit. They aren't hand-written by monks anymore. And the cover isn't leather. The kind of paper is usually chemically manufactured, whether it be to prevent copying or keeping the book sustainable. Pictures are in color and printed with super technology. Yet, it is ironic how such simple objects are made with million dollar state of the art electronic machinery. The book itself has not changed much since the day it was made. That changed when the ebooks were introduced.

So what is an ebook exactly? Does it have legs and talk to you, asking which book you would like to read today? Indeed that would be awesome. Ebooks are basically virtual books. You download them on your PC, laptop, notebook or tablet to read. One might ask what the benefits are of such an ebook. Is it worth buying a virtual book and staring at a screen for hours and hours? Most of the time books are read for relaxation, perhaps before going to bed or during a break. Staring at an electronic screen only makes your eyes hurt when done so for a long period of time. Whether it is worth to buy an ebook is up to you. A big benefit, regardless of anyone's preference is the fact that books are very mobile as ebooks. No more packing 5 books when you go on vacation. A tablet for example, could allow you to surf the web, text message, watch videos AND read books all in one. In a world where technology becomes smaller and smaller (except for TVs) the ebook is becoming very popular. Especially with tablets which are compact.

Another benefit is the capability of editing the book. Usually when you purchase the book, you are presented with the final version. If the author would like to add something or has an up to date edition of his or her book it is not possible to give it to you unless you buy another copy. Ebooks are virtual and updating to a newer edition is a matter of going online and downloading it. Furthermore, making notes might be hard to do in a paper book, because once you use a marker it is not possible to undue this. Even with pencils, it is tedious to remove if you regret using it in the future. Digitally, this is no problem of course. Just a matter of using an erasing tool in your ebook reader.

Again, whether ebooks are a revolution we should be thankful of is a matter of taste. It is a fact though, that our lives are becoming more and more virtual. Theaters and operas had to make room for TVs. Board and card games had to make room for video games and now it's the books turn, which has to make room for virtual books. And although the essence, smell and experience of a conventional book could never be replaced, a digital alternative can come in handy sometimes.

Kindle eBook Formatting for Quality and Saving Time

Over the past few months, I have been putting together e-books to share my information with the world, and keeping the price rather low so that people will download this information to their e-readers. Although the type of niches and esoteric information that I specialize in is not commonly sought after, there are enough people to make it worth my while. Perhaps you have information you'd like to share with the world, but you have hesitated because it is a time-consuming process to put together an e-book. Let me explain some simple techniques which will help you save time in this process.

First, I recommend that you download some of the Microsoft Templates which are free online, for all of those that have Microsoft Word. If you will look on the "Templates Page" on the Microsoft website, you will see one of the categories is books. If you click on that you will see that people have submitted as part of the Microsoft template community several variations of tables of contents, and templates for e-books. You should download the ones that you feel comfortable in using, and are closest to the format which you hope to use.

If you are putting together many e-books, it makes sense to create a cover page, a title page, and introduction. Also, a table of contents and for the back of your e-book a section about you the author. In doing this you can create a 5 to 8 page template, allowing you to merely place your literary work in the middle once completed. Once you do this and make the cover page you can post it on Kindle or Amazon and sell your e-book for a low-cost so that you can distribute your story, novel, or nonfiction work to the world.

Perhaps you have several short stories; in that case you can list them all on the table of contents and create separate sections for each story in the middle. Having the template in advance will help you save time in putting it together in a professional fashion. You see, there is no reason for you to hesitate putting together your e-book any longer. Over 1 million e-books have already been posted to Kindle and their library is growing. Best of all each month more and more people are buying Kindle e-readers. That means there is more likelihood of your future e-book being picked up by readers of all ages and walks of life. Why not start today? Please consider all this and think on it.

How to Write an eBook Fast and Not Fail in the Attempt

Do you want to create an eBook to give away as a freebie to promote your business?Do you want to create an eBook and sell it in your Sales Page?

Creating an eBook is actually pretty easy, but it is very important to make a plan of action before you start working on it. For most of the people who are working online, eBooks are a skill that must be learned, sooner or later. You will use it Always on your Squeeze Page to build a List of subscribers, or you will create a high quality content eBook to sell it on places like ClickBank.

Most of us learn the correct way by trial and error, evaluating on each eBook we create what went wrong and what can we do make it look better, with more content, without spending too much additional time.

So... let me explain how to create an eBook fast and easy, using basic tools that are available for all of us, like MS Paint or Microsoft Word, or free source software.

The first thing you need to do is make a plan of what do you want to create, and how to do it. I will display some basic steps and I will explain them in detail:

eBook First Page - Title and LogoCopyright StatementeBook FooterTable of ContentsBody - Content separated in sectionsFinal Thoughts Section

1) The first page of the eBook, I will adventure to say that it is the most important page in your eBook. Why? simply because it is the first impression of your audience. A poorly designed Logo will drive away the attention of your visitors.

Here you can design a nice Title with a program like Photoshop or Gimp, or use a nice font in an appropriate size to cover at least 30% of the page.

Now for the Logo, my best suggestion is to outsource the job to a graphic designer, to guarantee a high quality image to put in front of the eyes of your prospects. If you don't want to invest money here, you can create it yourself, or a good way to work on this is to get Public Domain images, and then edit them adding something catchy. Make sure to use 50% page space for this image. The remaining 20% will go for the Footer (explained in point 3).

2) The Copyright Statement. The best suggestion is to place it on the second page, near the bottom. In this section you will write what can people do and what can't they do with your copy of the eBook. Insert an image of your signature to make it look more professional. You can write here if you want people to give away your eBook for free, if you allow them to resell it (if it is a paid one), or if you forbid any kind of modifications to your copy.

3) The Footer, this is the place where you will write down the URL of your website. This footer will be in every page of your eBook, and it's perfect to call for your reader's attention, and get more traffic to your websites. This is ideal for List Building, because eBook Marketing is a very powerful traffic source to exploit in your business, and the footer will do it passively for you, even if you don't intend to use your eBook as a source to attract visitors to your website. Along with the website URL you can add a small description as well.

4) This is the Page where you display all the content of your eBook, separated with Titles that go with their respective Pages, to allow your readers to go directly to the sections they are most interested. I know some people who don't create Table of Contents, but hey, and eBook is like a regular Book but in digital format right? and a regular Book always have a Table of Contents. My best advice? Use it.

5) The body, the backbone of your eBook. You will write all the content in this section. Make sure to separate the sections correctly, maintain a logic order in what you are writing, and add some pictures in time to time, but not too much (the extra pages you gain adding pictures would make you lose credibility when a visitor sees the content very over populated with pictures). The eBook in total should have at least 30 to 40 pages, if you want to create something decent with high quality content. If you are going to create an eBook to sell, then it MUST have more than 100 pages. This is important, many people create junk eBooks and sell them for a couple of dollars, and when you open it you discover a ten pages eBook with duplicate content and a lot of garbage in it. If you are serious in your business, please do it right and you will have much more success than those guys.

6) This is a section I always add in my eBooks, totally optional. In this section you can tell your readers what do you think about the topic of the eBook, and it allows you to show a human presence to the content of your copy. You can add here as well a small description of what to do and why you created the eBook. People like to see that there is a human face behind the things they are after, and that is good for both sides, for you gaining a new raving fan / subscriber, and them getting in touch with you.

So, you now know how to write an eBook fast and easy, it just takes some time to get used, but the effort is highly rewarded. It will help you to increase your writing skills, and all the skills required to create every aspect of your eBook with your personal touch.

If you want to get more information about how to create, write, and promote your eBook you can visit my website at: http://www.financesuccessonline.com/.

I hope you find the information of this article useful, that formula is the one I am using and it is working like a charm for me. Add a personal touch for your creations and you will do it just fine.

Using Free Marketing To Promote Your Ebook

There are many ways to profit with ebooks. I personally love ebooks because of the incredible lifestyle that it gives me. You can wake up with money in your inbox on autopilot. You can come and go as you please. You can maintain your customer service efforts via phone. And there's no boss over you telling you what to do. With all that said, I think now is a great time to start selling your own ebook right away.

Now with that being said, there are a lot of people who are struggling to get a lot of sales with their ebook. In fact, almost none of these people make money with their ebook. For whole entire year, they will have only made around $100 total from their ebook marketing efforts.

Now there are a ton of reasons why this can happen. Sometimes the person doesn't give their ebook business 110%. Most don't believe that free marketing works, and are convinced on the idea that paid marketing is the way to go. And some just simply put in no effort in learning about internet marketing and promoting their book online.

Quite simply, you can't make money this way. If you want to make money with your ebook, you need a supreme marketing strategy that is unrivaled with anyone else. Marketing plays a very important role when it comes to selling your ebook, and if you don't know how to sell and promote your ebook successfully, then this is a problem.

You should first start off researching and learning about the best free traffic strategies out there so that you can tap into these lucrative strategies that will bring your ebook the sales and profits that you have been looking forward to. There are a lot of free traffic methods out there, and sometimes... these free traffic methods can get you more traffic than from the paid advertising sources.

Some of the best strategies out there are article marketing, forum marketing, video marketing, blog marketing, and search engine marketing. All of these traffic strategies can yield you a ton of traffic - but only if you're willing to put the work in to make your ebook business a success.

One thing that you can't afford to do is to make excuses. You have to be responsible for your own efforts and not blame the traffic techniques for not working. If you think that paid advertising is the way to go, then you should try it. But don't be surprised if you end up spending a lot of money on a traffic source that may or may-not be profitable for you.

I've been marketing my website for a short period of time now, and I can truly say that free marketing works. In fact, 98% of my traffic comes from free traffic methods. So that says something in and of itself. Don't get down on yourself if you've played the "pay per click" game and have come back unprofitable. Pick yourself up, and focus only on free strategies that can earn you the most traffic and money.

Take these tips and use them to propel your online business today.

Good luck at using these tips to make more money in your business simply and easily.

Overcoming Procrastination to Write an Ebook

If you've only written articles, writing an ebook may appear to be a daunting task. Writing the ebook may seem like an insurmountable task. Before starting to write you find all sorts of distractions instead of writing.

Research is a common way to procrastinate; you convince yourself that you are being productive with your work on the ebook. You tell yourself that you must be very knowledgeable before you can start writing. Despite all of this denial, you probably really do know that you are procrastinating.

Writing an ebook is no different from writing anything else.

The following is a process for writing an ebook:

- Come up with a theme or focus for your ebook. This topic is very significant because it's what you are teaching the reader.

- Write down ten working titles. A working title is a title that could possibly be used for your ebook. It has to capture the theme. It's important to come up with ten because the title you choose is the first step of your ebook.

- Write an outline, even if you despise doing so.

- Write one chapter every day the same way you would write an article every day.

- Revise your ebook.

- Make the revised ebook into a final draft.

- Format the ebook to make the appearance appealing and save to a PDF file.

- You are all finished!

Outlines are Very Helpful

Writers can be divided into two groups: people that outline before writing, and people who don't. If you're not someone who outlines now, it's important for you to start. Eventually you will realize that to work quickly to meet deadlines and outline is a necessity. Also, your writing will improve greatly when you start outlining.

All that and outline is, is a list. You should definitely outline your ebook so it doesn't change too much while you are writing it. It will be difficult to complete without an outline because the general focus will constantly change.

Start out with just a list of the chapter in your ebook. See each chapter as an individual article that revolves around a central idea. Even if you are pressed for time you can still get a chapter done each day.

Break Each Chapter into Parts

If your ebook still seems intimidating after making a list of chapters, try to write each chapter one paragraph a time. A method of doing this is to write fifty words as soon as you turn your computer on. This shouldn't be too challenging for anyone. After a while you will probably find this method slow and you will speed up. The words will come to you more easily and the ebook will be completed more quickly.

Now you can write an Ebook!

People can make a lot of money writing ebooks, whether it's for people, or as a source of income. The main obstacle when writing is getting overwhelmed and having trouble completing it. By now you should have a good idea on how to write an ebook.
